Goat luck to me on the trail again.

I’ve disappeared from the blogisphere for the past week as I’ve been home in Minneapolis reconnecting with my wife Katherine, my cats Al, Fran and Dar, a few friends, my bed, lots of house maintenance projects, and a pile of papers. It was encouraging to hear my friends tell me they loved my trip and enjoyed reading about my adventures in my blog. My wife is enjoying her time at home and is looking forward to my return. The cats are a different story.. They loved having me home and will be disappointed when they discover me missing yet again. Many house maintenance projects noted themselves to me and I noted that I will get to them later when I get home..I’ve been resting from biking, letting my quad muscles recover but I did discover that being in good bike shape doesn’t mean you are in good tennis shape, paddleboard shape etcetera. I did these things and felt soreness afterwards.I had lots of appointments getting all affairs in order before I leave again. Thus I will have temporary health insurance while I’m gone and Medicare insurance when I return. Katherine and I are spending a few days together and then i take off from a goat farm near La Crosse Wisconsin on my way to Washington DC. Katherine will join me for a few miles on the great river bike trail before she turns around for home and I continue on the Sparta Elroy trail and beyond..
