Day 1 will anyone take a package. Let’s get riding

Day 1 64 miles 2800 ft of climbing..6 hours.

The day started off fairly rough in that we could not find a place to shiip the bike bag back via fedex. (I don’t like Fed Ex or Walgreens). Thanks to Holly at Office Depot for bending the rules a bit we got the bag shipped. Scott then had a flat tire before we even missed the road..11:30 and we finally hit the road.

I have pictures of the actual start and the official start. Today was a nice mix of cow pastures, kind of like wisconsin and mountain roads.

We only got chased off a road once for trespassing today.i

The last ten miles, where brutal today because i’m on a shape, but I think it will get better.
