Day two 34 miles 2900 ft elevation gain. Rockport,WA to Diablo, WA
It was an easy day, except that the last four miles were all uphill.
The scenery was beyond beautiful. We were biking along the river with mountains. All around.
Tomorrow’s bike ride will be especially difficult due to the amount of climbing.
We went swimming in very cold water. And very refreshing.
Along the way, we stopped at a gas station and experienced the positive graffiti potty. Carol, the owner scraped off all the negative messages and positive just started to replace. She did have a recent post that said ” you’re a bunch of homos”. She just changed it to “you’re a bunch of homies”
For dinner we had Pad Thai and beef Bolennase with carrot cake for dessert at our camp site.
We had to stock up on food as there was not going to be food to purchase for most of 2 days
My body told me I was taking a nap and there was no negotiation. I had to lay down and fell instantly asleep
